Designed by UK-based Joe Gilmore and curated by Kikù Hibino for Signal Noise, Sedonis is a new four-part work by Masami Akita, produced using computer, modular electronics, and handmade instruments. The title refers to an image inspired by Barunga, the balloon monster from Ultra Q — a floating, cloud-like form with tendrils. The album offers a dynamic and atmospheric listening experience that reflects Merzbow’s distinctive approach to noise in 2025.
Packaged in a thick, double-sleeved jacket with die-cut windows. The outer shell is printed in silver and letter-pressed in black on a vintage Heidelberg cylinder press. Each copy is printed and hand-assembled in Chicago by Rohner Press and limited to 300 copies.

Materials: Outer Jacket: A thick, ultrawhite eggshell card, printed in silver and letter‑pressed in black on a vintage Heidelberg cylinder press.  Inner Jacket: A high-gloss sleeve that houses a solid 140g 12‑inch record and elegantly frames its center label.
