Chicago Comics: Future Forward

Buddy is proud to present the next installment of its Art 4 Sale exhibition series: Chicago Comics: Future Forward, featuring original works from a selection of 35 Chicago-centric contemporary comics curated by Joe Tallarico including works on paper, publications, and video. Tallarico is an artist, Editor of Comic Art for Lumpen Magazine, and has organized a number of exhibitions including at the Art Institute of Chicago. Buddy joins the city in a celebration of Chicago comic art in tandem with the DCASE exhibition currently on view at the Cultural Center: CHICAGO: Where Comics Came to Life (1880-1960) curated by Chris Ware, and Chicago Comics: 1960S to Now at the MCA. Buddy’s selection of works for sale helps support comic artists working today with financial support that will promote and continue their practice.
