Reclaim Pottery is made by Gabrielle H. Lyon, a potter based in Chicago, Illinois. Lyon hand builds most of her pieces using recycled (‘reclaimed’) clays. She uses found objects—particularly single-use plastics and single-serving food containers—as forms.
Reclaim Pottery brings the things we throw away into reclaimed use.

Desert-born, East Coast-raised, Midwest-rooted, Gabrielle Lyon is a mother, teacher, writer, and nonprofit founder. Her pieces are informed by nature, particularly the desert scrub of New Mexico, creeks of Long Island, and Illinois’ wetlands, savannas, and prairies.
