Mikey Anderson is an art therapist working with the LGBTQIA2s+ community and graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago MA in Art Therapy and Counseling. His art is informed by my community-driven social art practice, which incorporates fiber crafts, queer theory, illustration, and activism. His artworks range from radical queer illustrations too handmade queer inspired plushies. He strives to broaden queer representation by way of both art and art therapy practices. Through the classes he teaches, the community-based art projects he facilitates, and the art he create, he is committed to queer advocacy
