Raabiya Moonim is a Chicago based furniture designer whose practice is greatly inspired by the Bauhaus, a German art movement. Clean lines, symmetry and simple shapes are the basis of all her designs. By layering and repeating patterns she makes her designs more dynamic but still heroes its simplicity. Moonim uses color as a tool to accentuate her designs by drawing the viewer’s attention to design details.
