Renee Robbins

Renee Robbins is a Chicago-based visual artist who layers biomorphic forms to create detailed otherworldly environments. Working in Chicago since 2007, Robbins has been awarded two large scale public mural commissions. One mural is located at Fullerton and Lake Shore Drive on Lake Michigan in Lincoln Park and the other at Roosevelt and Wabash in the South Loop. Robbins has exhibited her paintings extensively across the United States, including a solo exhibit at Bergamot Station in Los Angeles. Robbins received her MFA from Michigan State University and a BFA from the University of Kentucky and is the author of 4 books. Her painting studio is located on the northwest side in Albany Park and her handmade prints are created at the community print shop, Spudnik Press.
