Chicago-based rock n roll collective Contorno released their second LP, Day to Day, on September 27th, 2024. The album was recorded at a variety of Chicago studios including Fox Hall, Strange Magic Recording, and The Echo Mill featuring contributions from Angela James, Jordan Martins, Robbie Hamilton, Steve Slagg, and Janet Bean. The album explores themes of loss, housing shortages, the collapse of the social safety net, and finding emotional refuge in Chicago's open, natural spaces.
