Emily Handley is a landscape painter who explores the intersection of the built and natural environment one city at a time. After growing up in the Pacific Northwest hiking and exploring the outdoors, her interest in architecture led her to live and work in Chicago. Emily has over 10 years of experience in architecture with a focus in adaptive reuse, historic preservation, building ornament, and modern interpretations of traditional craft techniques. She left the Architecture profession in 2022 to apply her keen eye and technical drawing skills to painting full time.
