Meshes is an anthology of illustrations depicting Sofia's explorations of abstract/topographical geometric forms constructed of triangles. Publishing an anthology in RISO was an intentional choice, the misalignment of a two drum printer further enhances the 3D effect of the illustrations.

Sofia Diaz
(Andersonvile)
Sofia Diaz is a multidisciplinary artist working across print, motion, mural, and sculpture. Her practice blends the precision of digital animation with the tactility of fine art. Rooted in the visual language of 3D software, topographics, and skeletal wireframes, her signature “Meshes”—constructed of triangles—serve as explorations of shape, weight, gravity, and dimensionality. Her 2D animation merges design, narrative, and visual experimentation, often driven by the same geometric curiosity that informs her fine art.
