Braided is a multifaceted organization that focuses on the empowerment of artists of color. It began with curated shows, but has developed other aspect including Braided magazine. The magazine comes out every three months and features a theme that focuses on a certain group of artists such as DJs, designers, or even just general musicians. Braided continues to create new content and grow as an organization now pursuing informational classes that will be free teaching artists the basics of the art world such as creating portfolios and a well-composed resume.
