John Himmelfarb

Born in Chicago, John Himmelfarb grew up in a rural area west of the city. He has had a studio in Chicago since 1970 and has shown frequently in New York, nationally, and abroad since the 1970s. Himmelfarb’s work is in numerous museum collections, including the British Museum, London England; the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York; Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.; The Art Institute of Chicago; and many others. He continues to maintain studios in Chicago as well as in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
