In August 2023, Chicago Review visited julie ezelle patton's six-flat in Cleveland, OH, a space known as "The Building" or the Salon d' Refusee and Let It Bee Garden. The Building as ecopoetic dwelling serves, in this issue, as an aperture onto patton's multimedia and multimodal practice as poet, performer, and bricoleur.
