This is an assemblage of items found in the alleys of Chicago as well as some paint, stain, glue. I don't like to give the idea behind what I make because I like the viewer to come up with their own ideas.

Eric Kirsammer

Eric Kirsammer was born in Detroit in the 1960's and moved to Chicago in the early 80's to attend the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He graduated in 1986 and went into business in 1991 with Chicago Comics. In 1997 he purchased Quimby's bookstore and now lives in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago.
