This blanket is made of a custom merino wool & cotton textile called ZagSwag, designed and woven in Chicago by The Weaving Mill, based on drawings by artist Nuria Montiel. After coming off the loom, the fabric is felted slightly to create a textural play between the merino wool and the more stable cotton. The result is a soft, warm, and textured throw. Pieces are cut in our Chicago workshop and sewn by stitchers employed directly (without the use of contractors or piecework), using a slow fashion model of manufacture, wherein workers are paid a living wage.
Dimensions: 69.5" x 43.5"
Materials: 50% merino wool, 50% cotton (body), 100% merino wool (fringe)
