How to interact with your candy sheet:
+Indoor: place the candy glass sheet near the window and let the sunlight come through.
+Outdoor: take a walk with the candy glass sheet when it’s bright outside or during the sunrise/sunset.
+After enjoying the interaction with sunlight, place the candy sheet in between parchment paper on a tray and smash with a hammer. Lift the parchment paper and slide the candy pieces into a bowl and eat. Enjoy!

Hyun Jung Jun is an artist living and working in Chicago. Often existing as a collection of assorted gestures in a variety of mediums, Jun’s work embellishes and elaborates on the chaotic monotony of everyday life and its frequent friction with the fantasies and daydreams that dance between the gaps of passing time. Working with commonplace commodities such as candles, bread, sewn and painted wearables, Jun’s work borrows from familiar, domestic language to describe and search the ornate identities of our individuality and culture. She received her BFA at School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014 and an MFA in Art Theory and Practice at Northwestern University in 2019.
