Anne Elizabeth Moore was born in Winner, South Dakota. She is an award-winning journalist and bestselling comics anthologist. Currently lives in the Catskills with an ineffective feline personal assistant, Captain America.
She has exhibited work in the Whitney Biennial in New York; in Leipzig, Phnom Penh, Berlin, Tbilisi, Lisbon, and Vienna; and in a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Moore has been honored with a National Endowment for the Arts Media Arts Award, a UN Press Fellowship, a USC Annenberg/Getty Arts Journalism Fellowship, and two Fulbright Scholarships. She was the 2019 Mackey Chair at Beloit College. Her next book, Her next book, Gentrifier: A Memoir, comes out from Catapult Books in October.

Trunk Show is a mobile exhibition space usually located in Chicago. Since 2013 we've featured monthly solo shows of commissioned artist bumper stickers. The sticker lives, rides along with, and helps propel a medium beat up 1999 forest green Ford Taurus owned by Raven Falquez Munsell and Jesse Malmed. Bumper stickers are sold à la carte and by annual subscription. Openings follow a nomadic, symbiotic logic and include a public affixing, conceptual catering and thematic soundtrack.
