Catherine Schwalbe completed a BFA with a sculpture concentration at UW Milwaukee in 1983. She is a maker of objects including mixed media, sculpture, found objects, bronze, and iron, installation and\site-specific works all centered around issues related to food systems, water, and being human. Schwalbe’s social practice works have been born out of the need and comfort of engaging with people, as an overlap with her recreation therapy practice. www.casbah3d.com
