The Lucky Trikes is a literacy chamber band formed in 2014 by co-artistic directors Deirdre Harrison and Kyle Gregory Price. The band performs live-streamed storytimes with improvised and composed music played by a rotating roster of Chicago improvisers. The Trikes perform mostly in public spaces such as city libraries, schools, parks, etc. The Lucky Trikes are members of the Chicago Literacy Alliance and work to bring Little Free Libraries and literacy events to Chicago's west side.
